JOHN S. MARTIN III
Chief Executive Officer
John Martin’s father, Dr. John S. Martin was a pioneer in the field of outsourced physician solutions when he formed Physician Staffing in 1974. More than four decades later, John continues the legacy of Physician Staffing and Community Hospitalists and has grown Martin Healthcare Group to be a leader in Hospital Medicine. He now oversees seven family-owned companies that provide outstanding service along with the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Tony began with Physician Staffing 30 years ago and provides leadership of our Martin Healthcare Group companies. Tony is highly involved with each of our client hospitals and is committed to providing quality patient care and exceptional customer service. His experience and vision gives him the ability to understand and respond uniquely to each client’s individual needs.
RAFIK MASSOUH, MD, FHM
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Massouh has worked with Community Hospitalists since 1999, shortly after we started at our first location. In his role as our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Massouh works with the site management team to ensure that the objectives of each program are being met or exceeded. Additionally, he also currently serves as the clinical leader for our Firelands, Mercy Regional, and Mercy Allen programs.
After undergraduate and medical school education at Damascus University in Syria, Dr. Massouh came to the United States and did research in cardiology and endocrinology at the University of Southern California Medical Center before heading to Cleveland for his internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center. He began his medical career as a traditional primary care physician with a practice on Cleveland’s west side where he practiced for four years before joining Community Hospitalists full-time.
He has completed both Society of Hospital Medicine Leadership Academies (Foundations and Advanced). He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine with the Ohio University and part of the teaching faculty at Firelands. He serves as a member of the Medical Executive Committee for Mercy Regional and Mercy Allen, is the Chairman of the Inpatient section of Mercy Allen, sits on the Quality, Utilization, and Physician Informatics Committees at Firelands and Utilization and Critical Care Committees at Mercy Regional.
PETER KIBBE, MD, FHM
Director of Patient Experience
Dr. Kibbe fulfills a dual role with Community Hospitalists. In his role as Patient Experience Leader Dr. Kibbe provides orientation and on-going training and mentoring through our “Path To Always” patient experience training. He also serves as the Regional Director for our programs at University Hospitals facilities. Dr. Kibbe’s vast experience makes him ideal for this role.
After attending Yale for undergraduate education, he returned to Cleveland for medical school at Case Western Reserve and then did his residency training at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. He began his medical career as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health System where he worked on Indian Reservations in Nevada and Arizona.
In addition to his 18+ years of hospitalist experience, he previously worked as an Emergency Department Attending Physician, an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the hospitalist division at UNC at Chapel Hill and as a solo internist in Cleveland, Ohio.
MICHAEL MENOLASINO III, DO, FACOI, FHM
Director of Quality and Education
Dr. Menolasino joined us as the clinical leader for the Lake Health Program and in his second year expanded his role to include physician education. Dr. Menolasino was instrumental in the development of our portable simulation lab and he provides monthly procedure education at multiple locations.
Dr. Menolasino is a graduate of Benedictine University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School. He did his residency training at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan and went on to complete a Faculty Development Fellowship at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Menolasino has been recognized as the Intern of the Year, Resident of the Year, Attending Physician of the Year, and as a University Hospitals Outstanding Primary Care Physician multiple years. He has served as a Clinical Associate Professor for Ohio University, Lake Erie College, and Michigan State University making him the ideal education leader for our clinicians.
RAFID FADUL, MD, MBA
Community Intensivists, Chief Medical Officer
Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Fadul graduated with a degree in economics and worked as a health consultant. He pursued his internal medicine training at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, and simultaneously completed an MBA at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on health care management.
Dr. Fadul went on to work as a site director before training at The Cleveland Clinic in pulmonary and critical care medicine, with a focus on advanced lung disease and transplantation.
Dr. Fadul has published articles on health care policy, health economics, interventional bronchoscopy, pulmonary medicine and lung transplantation. His work has appeared in New England Journal of Medicine, CHEST, Washington Business Journal, and he has given presentations at the national and international level.
SUNIL PANDYA, MD
Chief Strategy Officer
Dr. Sunil Pandya, MD, joined Martin Healthcare Group as Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Community Hospitalists of Sarasota in 2017. Dr. Pandya received his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami.
With extensive experience in nearly every aspect of patient care, he also successfully created and led 4 different companies which were purchased by national physician management corporations. Because of his clinical expertise and his success in creating and leading physician management startups, Dr. Pandya has become a highly sought-after health consultant and strategist.
In addition to his clinical work as a hospitalist, he has also held positions across the country as a President, CEO and Chief Medical Officer of various physician management groups.
Vice President, Finance
Throughout her 14 years with The Martin Healthcare Group, Jennifer has demonstrated an expansive knowledge of healthcare & finance. In addition to directing the finance department, she contributes to “best case scenarios” with outcomes benefiting our clients, physicians and patients while maintaining the fiscal health of The Martin Healthcare Group companies.

Executive Director, Operations
John Martin continues the legacy of patient care and leadership that built the Martin Healthcare Group and is committed to listening and responding to our patients, clients and staff. He possesses a natural ability to understand physicians and their needs and is enthusiastic about changes and emerging opportunities in the healthcare market.
He is involved with the company at all levels and leads Martin Healthcare Group’s affiliate companies, Community Intensivists, Continuum Healthcare Group and Martin Healthcare Services.
RYAN A. CARLETTI, MBA , HCA
Director of Operations
Ryan Carletti is Director of Operations for the Martin Healthcare Group. Ryan came to the Martin Healthcare Group in 2011 and quickly secured a valued role by demonstrating an uncanny ability to place Physicians within organizations where they can thrive. He does this by matching the culture of client hospitals with the character of the Physicians and fostering long-lasting partnerships.
Ryan now oversees and directs the daily Operations of MHG, including Practice Management, Recruiting and Scheduling.
Executive Director, Support Services
Lisa Vencius is Executive Director, Support Services for the companies of the Martin Healthcare Group. Lisa has been with our company for 32 years and leads a team of schedulers and staff who see to it that promised coverage is maintained and all physician credentials are up to date.
